Dr Jonathan Dartnell

Jonathan brings many years of experience in QUM research and implementation, as well as senior management for independent and not-for-profit organisations dedicated to improving the quality of health care.    

For several years he led the development and implementation of national QUM programs for NPS MedicineWise. This included multistakeholder and multifaceted programs for biologic medicines, chronic kidney disease, mental health, anticholinergics, dementia, heart failure, opioids, anxiety, neuropathic pain, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, antibiotics and others. 

Rawa Osman

Rawa is a clinical pharmacist and program manager with a strong track record for leading cross-functional teams and achieving large scale impact with complex national healthcare programs. She specialises in strategic leadership, program design, implementation science and stakeholder management.  She has a special interest in data and feedback educational services for health professionals.  
  
During her time at NPS MedicineWise, Rawa contributed to the development of new governance, partnerships and advisory structures to increase collaborative engagement with the health sector and improve program outcomes.   

Gloria Antonio

Gloria is an experienced business strategist with a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully deploy human services programs, implement quality frameworks and develop policy within the private and public sectors in Australia and the Asia-Pacific regions. She is service oriented and astute in identifying areas in need of improvement with the vision to develop and implement successful business models.  

Over the past decade, Gloria has provided executive leadership at NPS MedicineWise including five years as Deputy CEO. 

Sue Brown

Sue draws on her extensive clinical pharmacy, education, management and consulting experience across public and private health sectors. Over the past 15 years she has worked with a range of clients including NPS MedicineWise, supporting program governance and management, stakeholder engagement and technical writing. Sue is passionate about improving QUM, in particular for consumers in rural and regional areas. 

Most recently she led stakeholder engagement for the Value in Prescribing bDMARDs Grant - a consortium of nine organisations focused on the quality use of specialised medicines.   

Anthony Carr

Anthony had an extensive career in marketing and advertising agencies before starting his QUM journey at NPS MedicineWise. 

He was responsible for social marketing campaigns such as Join the fight against antibiotic resistance and industry recognised campaign work on generic medicines. Anthony also led the marketing effort for multiple national QUM behaviour change programs, with demonstrated impact on health professionals and consumers across a range of settings. 

Teresa Vaccaro

Teresa is a medical education and health communication specialist with over 20 years experience working in academia, with industry and government, and at NPS MedicineWise.

She is passionate about improving health literacy so individuals and professionals can make better choices in their approach to healthcare. She has contributed to the successful delivery of multiple state and national health programs supporting QUM, real time prescription monitoring, National Cervical Screening Program Renewal and scheduling changes to high-risk medicines.
